
High School Cross Country Invitational

HOSTS
| Alliance Running and Northmont
High School (DI Boys State Champs 95&96) will co-host the
invitational. It will be sanctioned and insured by the OHSAA.
Alliance Running is an organization devoted to promoting running in
southwest Ohio. Our members include several coaches, former college
runners, and race directors. SPONSOR The Ohio River Road Runners
Club is sponsoring the timing and results of the meet. The club is
providing the three digital mile marker clocks
for the course. Alliance Running would like to thank the ORRRC for
their support. The ORRRC hosts over 30 running events yearly ranking
in distances from a mile to 50K. For more information, check out

| The race will be held on the
grounds of the Miami Valley Career Tech Center in Clayton, OH.
The Career Tech Center is located less than one mile off exit 26 on I-70,
15 miles Northwest of Dayton. The CTC has plenty of free parking
in paved lots. Restroom facilities and concessions
will be near the maintenance hub. Directions: Take I-70 west to exit 26 Hoke Rd., Turn left off the
ramp onto Hoke. Take Hoke through the first traffic light. The
CTC is just past the light on the left at 6800 Hoke Rd, Clayton, OH 45315. |
RACE COURSE
| The 5000 meter course includes flat fields and woods. It will be accurate (I guarantee it) and marked every 1/2 mile. This course will be VERY spectator friendly and will also feature a 500 meter straightaway finish. This will also be the SAME course used for the Dayton Districts. |

AWARDS/RESULTS

REFRESHMENTS/T-SHIRTS
| A vending company will be on site to provide concessions. We will post (a month before the race) what food and drink items, as well as prices, that will be available race day. T-shirts will $10 for short sleeve and $15 for long sleeve and feature Alliance Running logo. |
MEDICAL STAFF/VOLUNTEERS
| A certified athletic trainer and at least one registered nurse will be on duty at the meet. Certified officials will be scoring and starting the meet. Course marshals will stationed along the course at major spectator points. |
REGISTRATION
| Coaches will need to submit rosters via Baum's Page. The window will close on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. Rosters need to be finalized by September 14th. Changes may be made to the original roster on race day. All runners must be registered. This will help us speed up the results. |
